As a kid, I used to laugh at the funny things Calvin used to do. Calvin and Hobbes is great because it is funny on so many levels. The content is exactly as stated (the first two books combined I believe) and the colors were great. Having always been a fan of Calvin and Hobbes, I jumped at the chance to get it on Kindle. Printing-wise, 2 out of 5 - what were they thinking when they put out this cheap, flimsy edition? Disappointed, but I guess it's worth exactly the $10 I paid for the paperback copy. So, content-wise, 5 out of 5 stars for being yet another great Calvin & Hobbes collection. I haven't tested the quality of the binding yet, but it doesn't have the same heft as the originals. The colors on the color comics are "off" - especially side-by-side with the original books from the 90's and early 2000's, you can see that something is wrong. So when I finally decided to buy it this month, I was really looking forward to completing the collection! Yes, it's the same book with the same delightfully terrifying opening, but the printing quality isn't there at all. This was the one book my father and I were missing out of our Calvin & Hobbes collection - and it's the one book that racked up a hefty library fine for the eight year-old me when it disappeared onto my bookshelf and I forgot that it wasn't mine.
